Amplify Care recently partnered with Canada Health Infoway on the Doctors of BC Burdens Pilot evaluating AI scribes in primary and community-based specialty care.

This pilot demonstrated that AI scribes can meaningfully reduce administrative burden and improve clinical workflows:

Patients responded positively:  Over 75% of survey respondents said it helped their doctor pay more attention to them during the visit.

Family physicians reported an average reduction of 3.4 minutes in documentation time per appointment, freeing up time for patient care and reducing after-hours work.

Community-based specialists shared that AI scribes helped them stay more present during complex visits, improved the richness of their documentation, and reduced mental fatigue- even when time savings were not always realized.
